God, if you would only do this one thing.....

Have you ever found yourself begging God for a miracle or yearning for a "sign" from God? If you aren't a Christian, have you ever told God that, if he'd just show you a miracle then you'd believe in him? Maybe you've seen an opportunity that if God would just do "this" or "that" then everything would be as it should be. You see it in the movies, you see it in everyday life and you see it throughout the Bible. Our human nature is to only see our "piece of the pie" or our window to the world and to feel that if only that one thing would happen, it would be so much easier to believe. But the Bible teaches us that this is not a right attitude. Our focus should not be on ourselves. This life we live is not for us - its for the Lord. The job you do, the ministry you have, the family you lead, the kids you raise...its all the Lord's.
