This section of John is so packed with history, culture, story line and HUGE spiritual meaning. I am not sure I can get it all in. I am "like" exploding with chapter 4, "literally". There is a lot more to this this woman than I have ever realized. As a matter of fact there is a lot of me in this woman, there may be a lot of you in this woman too.
Jesus really shows us his personality in John chapter 4. He has let us know WHO He is, now we get to see what he is really made of. Reflect on this relationship with the Samaritan woman and Nicodemus and we really start seeing Jesus' personality.
P.S. Is anyone reading this? If you are I dare you to comment. I don't think you have the guts to do it!

In your faces; I dare you to tell me about the last time God caused you to know that the love you were experiencing was a miracle!
Ok; one night I was walking home through the cemetery. I was not a believer, infact I was walking home from parting early into the morning and I was a little under the influence. I was walking along talking to myself, which is not that unusual, and discussing existentialism. There in front of me was a statue of Jesus with Jn 14:27 written at the base.
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage."
I looked up at the statue and yelled, "What is that suppose to mean." Well now I know and God got a kick out of it.
He loves me so much he asked someone to put this quote on their headstone so he could speak to me in my valley of darkness. That is pretty miraculous.
